Cove Creek Volunteer Fire Department is located in Vilas, North Carolina. We are located off of 321 - 4/10 of a mile from the 421/321 intersection. The Fire Department provides multiple services to the Cove Creek Fire District.

Cove Creek Fire Department is a completely volunteer fire department with approximately 35 active volunteer members. Volunteer officers and members receive no compensation.

The department is headed operationally by Chief Terry Combs , who has served as fire chief for the past 6 years and been a member of the department for over 30 years. Administratively, the department is run jointly by the chief and a community elected Board of Directors.
